The 34th Stowe Winter Carnival celebrates with our 2008 theme "Stowe Away the Blues", as we highlight many reasons why people visit our winter wonderland land of Stowe.

From January 18 to January 26, Stowe shines with 10+ major activities for both young and old, from zany sports events, Ice Carving Competitions, movies, Kids Carnival Kaos and the infamous Village Night Block Party.

Tour the town, while watching Professional Ice Carvers create elegant and masterful Ice carvings throughout the village on Demonstration Day, and see the see the competition evolve at the 8th Annual NICA sanctioned Ice Carving Competition.

Tourists and locals alike participate in such zany events such as our infamous SnowVolleyball Tournament, Stowe Super G Ski Race, Kids Carnival and our long-standing, ever popular Village Night Celebration Block party on Main St. There is something for everyone in the family as we become "Stowe Away the Blues," Friday, January 18 to Saturday, January 26.
